On Thursday, June 17th at 6:30PM the Napa Valley Wine Library Association presents PERSPECTIVES – a one-on-one conversation between Cathy Corison and Colleen FitzGerald of Pine Ridge Vineyards. These two women will discuss their careers and the pursuit of extraordinary winemaking. Colleen FitzGerald is ten years into her career in the wine industry. She has been inspired by the vision and determination of Cathy Corison, whose journey began nearly 45 years ago. Carr Winery Presents: Summer Art Series with Gus Harper
We’re elated to announce the first show of our Summer Art Series, featuring Gus Harper, happening Saturday, June 19th 6-9 PM. Join us at the winery in downtown Santa Barbara to meet the artist, enjoy wines by the glass, and mingle amongst good company. Based in Los Angeles, Harper has been creating and selling art around the world for the past 18 years. His work is moving, capturing your eyes and mind with geometric patterns, captivating iridescence, and immense detail. “Like the best of Pop, their effect is to awaken us to the strangeness of the ordinary, to present the most routine encumbrances of our daily lives as almost miraculous apparitions.” A few things to note: Our Santa Barbara tasting room will be accepting reservations from 12-5:30.
