Vintage Paso: Zinfandel Weekend is a themed weekend in Paso Robles Wine Country featuring individual experiences at wineries. This year our Vintage Paso: Zinfandel Weekend will not feature a single marquee event. 100+ local wineries celebrate with 3 days of experiences. Create your own Zinful itinerary to smell, sip, and savor the heritage of Paso Robles. Currently, large-scale gatherings are not approved. Wineries will be conducting business much in the same way they are now, with groups of no more than six people per party, socially distanced, with all precautions in place to create a safe environment for both guests and employees. At this time, wine tasting rooms and restaurants are only allowed to operate outdoor services.

As one of the premier solo guitarists and vocalists in Santa Barbara County, John is known for the wide range of musical styles and artists he covers, with something in his musical repertoire to entertain even the most diverse audience. Cyrus Clarke and the Blue Sky Flyers celebrate and play the music of California Americana and beyond. Led by songwriter and vocalist Cyrus Clarke, a Southern California native who spent eleven years working in the music scene on Maui, the band’s sound includes elements of rock, country, bluegrass, surf music, and more. Under his label, Ranch Recording, Clarke has released eleven studio albums which are currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and most other streaming platforms.

Beta Play (previously known as Tommy & the High Pilots) have released five albums and four singles. When they aren’t touring, the Cantillon Brothers like to keep up their musical chops by playing in more intimate settings, bringing a variety of covers to the table that include ’50s and ’60s doo-wop, classic rock, modern pop hits, and everything in between. Join us this Friday at Carr Winery for live music from NBC’s The Voice finalist, Will Breman, alongside the World’s Safest Band! A longtime Santa Barbara native, Will Breman has developed a sound all his own over the course of his musical career. He primarily operates as a one-man-band soul musician and looper, creating various beats with his guitar and looping them together to sound like multiple musicians. This year, he earned a spot on John Legend’s team on season 17 of The Voice. Since the show’s finale, Breman continues to play at various venues along the West Coast. We look forward to welcoming him back to the Carr Winery Barrel Room this January!

Coming out of the coastal mountain town of Santa Barbara, CA, the Salty Strings are expanding the boundaries of traditional bluegrass. The band’s traditional bluegrass sound is accented with elements of Latin and funk. Dan & the ZimmerMen are an original trio consisting of Dan Zimmerman on guitar, Matt Perko on drums, and Santino Tafarella on bass. The band performs Zimmerman’s original instrumental music, including a blend of jazz, rock, country, and funk with ambient textures. The compositions create moods which the group expresses through interpretation and improvisation. Free admission, 21 and over.

Catch the Alastair Greene Duo on the Carr Winery patio this Friday evening! Enjoy Carr wines and empanadas from Buena Onda. Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Alastair Greene has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for close to three decades. He has released eight solo albums (including two live recordings and a compilation record), the most recent of which is “LIVE FROM THE 805.” The album was nominated for Rock Blues Album of the Year by Blues Blast Magazine in addition to being included on many “Best of 2018” year-end lists by multiple publications. Enjoy this one of a kind entertainment while you sip your favorite Carr wines alongside delicious, handcrafted empanadas from Buena Onda. Born in Santa Barbara, California, Anthony L. Ybarra has had the guitar in his hands all his life. His father introduced to him Latin and jazz music at an early age and soon his musical palette broadened to encompass classical and flamenco. He also was a multi-instrumentalist and performed in rock, pop, and Liturgical settings. His diverse musical background proved essential in the success of Ybarra Music. His understanding of these diverse styles has led him craft out his own sound that is melodic, romantic, intimate, rhythmic, and sophisticated. Free admission, 21+.

Friday, July 12, D.on Darox & the Melody Joy Bakers debut at Carr Winery! The Melody Joy Bakers are a 7-piece brain child of the nomadic, multi-instrumentalist, and growling frontman D.on Darox. The band is based out of Southern California, and their sound combines roots, jazz, and American blues music with Latin rhythms. D.on Darox & the Melody Joy Bakers have performed on many stages and streets across the United States. They have won over the hearts of broad audiences ranging from the young, the aged, and those lost and inebriated somewhere in between. Raconteur and wayward traveling bluesman, TD Lind is in the house on Friday, May 31 from 7-9pm. Born in 1972 in England. Moved to New York in 1991. Since then, TD Lind has lived in Kentucky, London, Los Angeles, Provence (France), and currently resides in Ojai, California. Over the years TD has played/worked with Glyn Johns, Sting, Bad Company, The Moody Blues, Wilco, The Mavericks, Marillion, and James Blunt, to name a few. TD has released four albums to critical acclaim and is currently releasing his fifth record, titled Stone Fruit Blues, backed by the California Feetwarmers and produced by two-time Grammy-winning producer Tim V. Based in Santa Barbara, CA, the Left Hand Lions tour California, spreading their Wild Americana sound—a raw blend of wire, wood, smoke, and sparks. Their stylings are reminiscent of bands including Mumford & Sons, Pearl Jam, and the Dave Matthews Band. The dynamic indie-rock duo Whesli will return to Carr Winery on Friday, May 10! Specializing in indie, soul, and rock n’ roll, Whesli is a music duo based out of Los Angeles, California. The band, consisting of guitarist and vocalist Whesli and pianist Daniel, has been performing, writing, and recording music together since 2015.

Raise a glass to Friday night at Carr Winery with featured reggae band, After the Smoke. Hailing from Ventura County in Southern CA, After the Smoke comes to you with an original style of Cali roots-rock reggae music. After years of pursuing their own musical endeavors, longtime friends come together to bring the world a new sound of reggae. What started out as a few jam sessions eventually led to an original blend of roots-rock reggae, with every individual member contributing a unique influence from their diverse backgrounds. Their message of peace, love and unity through music is what makes them such a joy to listen to and watch perform. Free admission, 21+.

To describe her as “the most awesome female rock guitarist… ever!” is simply an understatement – Teresa Russell is one of the best guitarists out there, male or female. She has performed all over the world and has shared the stage with guitar rockers such as Johnny Winter, Walter Trout, Carl Verheyen, Corby Yates and others. This Friday, she will be performing acoustic, blues, folk, gospel, and rock at Carr Winery, joined by the amazing Tom Buenger on vocals, harmonica, and cajon. Free admission, 21+.
